Light the Night AVL 2024

Event Date: Saturday, December 21st
Time: 5 to 7 PM (Walk begins promptly at 5:15 PM)

Start Location: Meet at 5:00 at the field next to All Souls Pizza – 175 Clingman Avenue

End Location: The walk will end at The RAD Brewing Co., where the festivities continue!

Event Details

• Route: See the map below.

• Route Length: Approximately 1 mile long with no hills.

• Route Safety: We will remain on sidewalks and use crosswalks. The walk will take approximately one hour to complete.

• Post-Walk Festivities: Enjoy a festive gathering featuring a fun (no pressure!) lantern and festive attire contest with prizes!

Lantern Guidelines

• Lanterns must be carried on your person.

• No open flames permitted – only battery-operated votives and twinkle lights allowed.

Event Guidelines

• Leave No Trace: Please do not leave any litter along the route.

• Dogs: Only well-behaved, crowd-friendly dogs are welcome. Reactive dogs should remain at home.

• Attire: Festive attire is encouraged but not required! Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
